The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidyalaya was constituted in 2015 as per NAAC guidelines to serve as the institution's nodal body for planning, guiding and monitoring quality-assurance and quality-enhancement activities. IQAC works to build an internal culture where quality is not an external inspection exercise but an ongoing, self-driven process embedded in every department and office of the college.
In keeping with NAAC's composition guidelines, the IQAC brings together the Principal, senior faculty, administrative staff, and representatives of management, alumni, parents, employers, the local community and students.

The AQAR is a yearly account of the quality-related activities undertaken by the college, submitted to NAAC after approval by the governing body. It tracks progress against the goals set out in the institution's Self Study Report.
The Self Study Report is the comprehensive document submitted to NAAC ahead of a peer-team visit, covering the institution's profile, criterion-wise performance and supporting evidence across all seven NAAC criteria.

A structured, department-led system of fortnightly internal tests paired with one-on-one remedial mentoring for academically at-risk students. Faculty mentors track individual progress across the semester and coordinate with the Career Guidance Cell to address learning gaps early, rather than at the end-of-year examination stage. The practice has measurably improved pass percentages in first-year classes and reduced dropout among first-generation learners.
The National Service Scheme unit, guided by IQAC's community-outreach objectives, conducts annual health-awareness and adult-literacy camps in villages around Dharmabad. Students plan and execute the camps under faculty supervision, gaining hands-on experience in social responsibility while extending the institution's reach into the community it serves.
IQAC collects structured feedback each year from every stakeholder group and places the analysis before the committee to inform curriculum, infrastructure and support-service decisions.
